Waste Management Virtual Internship

Waste Management is on a mission to maximise resource value, while minimising – and even eliminating – environmental impact so that both the economy and the environment can thrive.

The Waste Management Virtual Internship was an innovative marketing initiative to build employer brand with the student market and give a realistic job preview to candidates. It also provided students with the opportunity to work on real time business challenges for Waste Management, while being supported by interactive learning content and dedicated mentors. This was a great alternative to offering a higher touch in-person internship, particularly due to the changing COVID-19 levels and lockdowns.
